SECTION 1 – WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
When you create a Flexible Giving Account (FGA), as part of the registration process, we collect and store the personal information you give us including: your name, company, email address, and phone number.
When you connect Funding Sources to your FGA, including checking accounts, saving accounts, credit cards, and/or debit cards, we will store only: the name of the financial institution, the type of account, the last 4 digits of the account number, and card expiration dates. Because we do not store any routing numbers, bank account numbers, credit/debit card number, or CVV codes, we waive the requirement to be PCI compliant. All sensitive financial data is stored at our third party merchant services Stripe and Plaid. (See more in section 5)
When you browse our site, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
And to meet the added security expectations associated with being a financial application, we will send mandatory email notices about your account including password reset notifications, funding account activity, and automatic transaction notices. We will also send you email marketing messages promoting account features, budgeted giving practices, and other messages related to charitable giving. You will have the option to unsubscribe from email marketing messages.
SECTION 2 – CONSENT
How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your bank account, deposit funds, or donate to a nonprofit, we imply that you consent to our collecting your information and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
How do I withdraw my consent?
If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at mick@m614.org or mailing us at: Fearless Foundation 402 E 20th Street, Sioux Falls, SD, 57105, United States.
You may also withdraw consent by disabling your Flexible Giving Account.
SECTION 3 – DISCLOSURE
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
SECTION 4 – HOSTING & THIRD PARTY
Our site is hosted by a third party. They provide us with the online donation platform that allows us to collect funds to be distributed to nonprofits.
Your basic contact data is stored on our site. All sensitive financial data is stored securely on our merchant applications’ (Stripe.com and Plaid.com) databases, servers and general application.
Funding Sources: If you choose to create a Flexible Giving Account and link a Credit Card, Debit Card or Bank Account as a funding source, then Stripe.com and/or Plaid.com store your bank account data. This data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI- DSS). Your bank account information is stored for as long as your bank account is verified and actively linked to your Flexible Giving Account. We remove your bank account information from Stripe and Plaid when that funding source is unlinked from your FGA.
Stripe.com and Plaid.com adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council.
